Life, will catch even the most resilient of us off guard, causing great pain. I hope that when that happens, you don’t add stories on top of the pain sending yourself into suffering. I hope that you choose acceptance as a healing tool. I hope that you remain open. I hope that you don’t focus on what was or could be, rather what is. I hope that you choose to get the lesson. I hope that you accept responsibility for your life. I hope that you are grateful for your resilience above the pain. I hope that you know there is still beauty and power in dim lights.

Mayan Fire Dancing! This was my second time seeing

Mayan Fire Dancing! This was my second time seeing this expression performed in person. I was so fascinated by the passion and skill. I was also intrigued...how is he not getting burned? Isn't he scared he will?
.
Fire dancers believe this artistic expression is only dangerous for one who doubts himself, his mission and God's favor over his life. THAT resonates with me!
.
Looking back over my life, I can see it was in times where I was unsure of who I am, My I Am (purpose), and the immeasurable favor over my life, that I was burned...badly.
.
These days, I have no scar tissue and the only remnants that I was burned are slight discolorations to remind me to be discerning! I still dance on fire, even when I'm fearful, I dance anyway. I have no doubt for every dance I choose...my mission, my favor and my trust in myself are being strengthened!

When it’s all said and done, I want to look in the mirror and with my hair silver, my moles larger and beautiful ley lines of wisdom across my face, say to her, well done Gorgeous!

While my intention and desire is to be an impact on those that come in contact with me; those lives assigned to mine, the life I will impact the most…is my own. Our greatest influence, is personal.
.
Be intentional with your words and actions, thoughtful in your decisions and integral in how you show up. Cause when it’s all said and done, the sum of those things, will be what you see in that mirror.
